Meet The Pastor

Pastor Ken Reese and his wife Patty came to our church in 2012 following ministries in Salinas and the suburbs of Kansas City, Dallas/Fort Worth and St. Louis.  Pastor Ken received degrees from Missouri Baptist College, SIU-Edwardsville and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

As a pastor, Ken feels the most joy and satisfaction in his ministry in preaching and teaching, pastoral care, and counseling.  He loves to encourage people to stretch themselves, attain a little more, grow in their discipleship.

Pastor Ken is frequently called upon to minister to families in the community by conducting funerals and by providing counsel during times of crisis.  While Pastor Ken and Patty do not have children, they are actively supportive of children in our church and frequently attend the many events for children sponsored by community.

In his free time Pastor Ken enjoys hiking, sightseeing and just being outdoors in God’s creation along the beautiful Central Coast of California.
